But before you sign-up with these cable deals and internet packages let’s check the list of hidden fees you have to look out for.
- Activation Fees
It’s additional cost to the first month’s bill. The activation fee is to cover the expense in setting-up the new account of cable, internet or phone service.
- Installation fees
Fee for the connection of service to your home. Involves manpower and equipment. Usually on top of first month’s bill but sometimes broken down into installments.
- Equipment fees (DVR, receivers, routers, etc.)
Cable packages- DVR, HD receiver, digital adapters
Internet services- modem, WiFi router
Home phone service- hard phone
